Electronic Program Guide and Built In DVR

Vodlix IPTV includes an electronic program guide that shows the schedule and programme details for each live channel, from an EPG feed you connect for the whole platform or per channel. With a DVR URL on the channel, viewers can pause and rewind the live stream, and programmes that already aired carry a play icon in the guide so they can be watched as catch-up. The guide is switched on separately for mobile and TV apps, and catch-up and DVR use the archive your streaming origin keeps. Operators get a broadcast style experience without broadcast infrastructure.

One CMS for Live and On Demand Content

Vodlix IPTV is managed from one content management system that covers the entire library, from live channels to on demand films and series. You upload, organise and publish content in the same place you configure monetisation, review analytics and manage security settings such as DRM and geo restrictions. There is no second admin panel for live versus on demand and no separate tool for billing. Each channel plays from the HLS stream you set on it, whether that comes from Flussonic, a linear playout service or your own origin, with a UDP/MPEG TS source and a plain HTTP URL for mobile and TV apps as options. The on demand library streams from the Vodlix global CDN with adaptive bitrate, so quality follows each viewer's connection. For protection, switch on DRM with licence servers for Widevine, FairPlay and PlayReady, and use geo rules to decide in which countries a channel or title can be watched.

IPTV Monetisation With No Revenue Share

Vodlix lets IPTV operators monetise with subscriptions, pay per view or advertising, in any combination, and takes no share of the revenue. Each channel has its own Monetization tab: keep the platform default, or make it AVOD, SVOD or TVOD, or free to watch. A TVOD channel is rented for a price and a number of hours, which suits a single live event, channels can be grouped into content bundles, and ads can play in live streams. Payment gateways, packages and pricing are configured in the CMS, so changing an offer is a setting rather than a development task.
